OK guys, I'm real pissed with one of my customers.
One of my CB product has been pickin up sales ever since Google did the PR update.

All the previous customers never had problems downloading and viewing the document... till yesterday... there's this lady who bought my product then she did a Clickbank support ticket saying that she can't download it (wtf?) and wants a refund.

Of course, I immediately assist her but to avoid any further problems I just attach the CB product of mine to the e-mail and send it to her. And yes, she's a valid customer.

Then she never replied for hours. I thought everything went fine. Then about an hour ago she e-mail me saying that she has downloaded the latest Adobe Reader and manage to open my document. But her problem now is.. all she sees in the document is black squares (again - wtf?)

How do I solve this? I used Times New Roman as my font when I type the document in Microsoft Word and convert it to the PDF coument... the document is NOT corrupted in any way because I have tested it.

What could be the possible problem?

    gimmie4free, that's a lovely link!

OP: it has to be her PC.

What's her OS? Maybe some ancient mac or win95 or something like that. I took a look around and I don't see a record of that issue at all. I've run into that myself but only for cyrillic or japanese pdf docs on a system without a full lang pack. You're really using western TNR? I'd say to try Arial or some other font, but if other people can see it OK then it's not your font.

Is your pdf protected? could be that she can't read the encryption. Or you can try one of those EXE PDFs.

I hate adobe, I really do. When you run into one of these stupid bugs they're a worse cypher than .net imho

If she won't do gimmie's solution maybe try a protected g00gle d0cs? Or send her an html file. Shit, print it out and mail her a copy

Ah, one other thing: send your doc to a friend and have THEM make the PDF. Or post a review copy here. We won't peek I promise ;D

yeah, thanks guys... I will assist her as soon as I get home (in school now). Damn~

Damn my school's network admin for blocking most of the ports. That is why I can't access my webhost's e-mail.
