Can someone explain me this thing?
Ahrefs says that their UR is tailored to Google's PageRank, but I've tried to figure out how it is calculated. I noticed a strange detail - that it takes into account the external / internal links of a certain page and thereby increases the URL rating. What's the point then?
When a link from a cool resource with DR 85-90 has an UR of 10-15 and some kind of links from mega-spam topics (not forums) have indicators of 15+. At the same time, creating new topics on the same sites, posting a single link in a 100% trelevant discussion - gives UR 7-10 ..
In the referring domains column, you can see that these spammed topics have a large number of referenced resources, although topics with DR 85-90 do not have any links other than ours. What's the point then?
Is there anything in this UR at all, or is it useless?
P.S. How can I rate the value of links (forum, guest-posts, outreach)?
