Sorry if I posted in wrong subforum.
Basically, I decided to try Upwork writers for the first time and this resulted in sh*tshow.
I posted a job like 'Need writer to write reviews'. It is for my website, to test the waters.
Next day or so (after I already hired guy for the job) got warning from upwork that they prohibit fake reviews and stuff. I replied that my order has nothing to do with fake amazon reviews, they replied sorry, blah-blah-blah, we support only wh seo etc.
Today decided to check more writers, posted more jobs and this time I didn't use 'review' in title. But guess what?

Upwork Help: Account Restricted: Upwork Job Posting Violation

They removed my jobs, because
This job posting stated: You are looking for paid review services which is prohibited in our platform.

I can't now post jobs, hire people etc.

Basic searching on their site gives out hundreds of 'I WILL WRITE AMAZON REVIEW' etc, people from here order review articles from there, people from sh*tload of SEO companies order reviews from there, people I know order from there, everyone orders reviews from upwork and I'm getting flagged???? WTF is going on????

wy you dont post here for this? there many guys making reviews

Because they all agencies (99% of them). Sometimes write good, sometimes crap.

Sorry for your loss, I hope at least they returned the money (if you paid).

And the other 1% just don`t write? Made my day.

It's all fun, but maybe someone has experienced this? What did you do in this case?

Basically, marketplace like upwork Fiverr does not like the word "review." My friend had to go through the same problem but in Fiverr.

What did he do to lift his ban?

Customer support didn't listen to him or wasn't ready to understand the problem. So he just created another account instead of going through all the hassle
Did he use the same credit card and name?

I am not sure, but for the buyer account, they don't care much. Or just completely delete the buyer account permanently and create a new one
Thought about that, thx for the help. Although will try to talk out my way first with support at first.

Still weird though, everyone sells&buys reviews and I'm flagged lol

Yes contact customer support first and talk with them politely as being rude will just make things worse.

This ^ could mean they will write a review-style article for an Amazon affiliate site, though...
But that's what I need and ordered and support fcked me over for this

So, can you contest the ban by saying that you wanted to send the writer a product for them to review and write an article? (I know you probably weren't going to send them a product).

U got caught, try to check which mistake you made that caused them to detect your buying of reviews.

Delete it and start afresh, GL!
