I'm looking for the cheapest but reliable video editor.. Which of these two should I choose?
Upwork or Fiverr?

Go with the one that has better community reviews cheap is good, but stability saves headaches and upwork has much more stable freelancers if u know how to filter them

Fivverr is so saturated now. But they are still the cheapest in comparison to Upwork. I'm sure you can find someone to handle editing for next to nothing.

In general I'm using those alternative platforms, their freelancers are usually less saturated, sometimes cheaper and offer a more human and organic service. Upwork and Fiverr seems to be full of AI slop.

Why must it be either UpWork or Fiverr? A lot of freelancers are advertising on others, like Countra (not sure about the spelling now), where competition is less. But they're experienced, and want to make their mark. I'd say find one there, check their background, and give him/her a test project.

Both are good. Upwork for big jobs, Fiver for quick tasks.

Fiverr is usually easier for fixed-price small jobs and cheaper gigs. You can quickly see portfolio, price, and reviews. Many good editors offer affordable packages there.
Upwork is better if you want longer-term work and more serious professionals. The price may be a bit higher, but you can interview, test, and build a long-term working relationship.
