Upvote & downvote bots working?

Vote bots get shut down pretty regularly and most of the ones that claim to work either don’t last or just get the accounts banned.
Unusual downvote activity is more often just regular users or the platform’s own filters than some new bot wave.

you should review the content you post to this forum. Maybe try adding something useful to the conversation
Could be, but unusual downvotes don’t automatically mean botting. I’d first check whether the votes are hitting older posts/comments too, whether it happens in a short time window, and if it repeats across different subreddits. Patterns like that are more useful than one sudden drop.

It could be but i wouldnt just assume it from one account. Checks the times and voting patterns on a few posts; un usual spikes usually reveals more than one drop.

hard to say based on one account alone.unusual downvotes could have other causes too so check the activity over time before assuming bots are behind it.

A sudden increase in downvotes could indicate coordinated voting, organic engagement, or targeted activity. The key is whether the pattern is consistent across multiple posts and accounts.

tbh reddit's gotten way better at detecting coordinated activity. theyre using machine learning to flag patterns across ips and user behavior. if you see unusual downvotes check whether its coming from new ips or fresh accounts. sometimes its legit users disagreeing but usually its filters picking it up first

small update to this thread, I watched consistent odd upvote ratios on like 100 different posts on that account since I made the original post. Today the account was permanently banned for "vote manipulation" with a direct message as well as email from u/reddit with a list of links to suspected posts that were "vote manipulated".
Context: I have a competitor who steals content and then downvote bots the main account I run, I battled him in 2023-2024 downvote botting him back until we were at a stalemate and gave up on each other. Then botting was nerfed and panels werent working. Now it looks like they work but the downvotes dont stick.

From what I've seen............
Very few services work. But there's 2 I know of are working currently.
And yea, there's a ton of terrible personalities working reddit and some even come from here. I wouldn't expose my work to anyone if I were serious about it .
People used to wonder why I wouldn't share usernames/accounts. This is Exactly why.
with experience automation bot for processing upvote and downvote on Reddit bot not working for long,in some regions Reddit not allow register with profile management which has effect the automation bot running.
