Hello. I am kinda new to reddit.
I am curious.. Is buying upvotes / having multiple accounts and botting the upvotes that big of a deal if you don't cross some line with it? If you keep it low is there a still big risk of getting the account banned?
Thanks for reply.

You want to use high-quality services and want to test them out before going big.
Just test it out!

They won't ban if your account if you buy upvotes.
Check out the marketplace section, there are a few reddit upvote provider. Make sure to test before you buy, though.

And what If I create new 20 reddit accounts.. every one on different residential proxy.. and upvote my posts with them.. will I easily get banned?

Yes, if you upvote your posts and they catch you, your accounts will be suspended, especially if they're new accounts with low karma.

maybe buy a few aged account and try the botting as aged
accounts will have few restrictions .
Ok thanks...the age needs to be 6 months +? what about karma? Is it crucial too?

Yes, Reddit prohibits the use of multiple accounts and buying upvotes and violating these terms can result in account suspension or banning. But if you do this slowly on an aged account and mimic the human actions while doing so and reddit does not detect any unusual activity on your account, then you can grow your account and gain karma.

Big deal in what sense? It's against Reddit's TOS, so you can get banned for it.

The better question is: Will they know you did it? Well that depends on how you do it. As long as you're not obvious about it and take some precautions, such as not creating a bunch of accounts with the same IP and Upvote each other you should be good. It's still a risk though, so before you do anything you gotta be willing to face the consequences.

Reddit tends to care much more than other sites & when they drop the hammer it can go 0 to 100. They won't hesitate to ban ips, subbredits, connected accounts.

People will say you can do it and its easy. It is easy until the hammer comes down on you. Safer & easier to take precatutions.
- Use aged accounts registered on different IPs with no connections to each other.
- Use anti detection browser as reddit enjoys connecting accounts with the same browser fingerprints.
- Don't make it obvious. Don't always use the same accounts, rotate them. Mix in other usage.
- Don't make enemies. They will dig into your accounts and manually report you.

They won't ban subreddits that easily. A decently sized subreddit will have to do a lot of crap before it gets banned. What usually gets banned are small subs that just got created not too long ago. Particularly NSFW ones.
