status cake, although they just changed their pricing model, and now only allow 10 sites i think, instead of unlimited, but i only glanced at an email about this, i might be wrong.

Monitis is good, but for free they offer only 5 monitors with 15min intervals.

You can create your own if you know PHP, I think it's 10 lines of code max (or can hire some developer).

If you wanted a low-cost monitoring. Try montastic, but it can only monitor 3 sites for free. They also have paid ones like $29 for 200 sites.
