UPS Store Box Under A Fake Name

I don't think you can get away with using a fake name. At least when I apply for the USPS PO boxes, it requires two IDs.

Google "Cultural Differences and Customs in Bribery".

Then, once you've educated yourself, understand that what's being said isn't racist.

Toyo, thx for the neg rep, very mature, as was your last comment ;) x

OP, read that article and use it to your advantage if you find an owner who wasn't brought up with a western attitude towards business (hint: if he has an accent, there's a good chance it'll work).

anyway - UPS box will want your real address, and 2 forms of ID if i remember correctly, drivers license and something else w/your name on it. just call them up and ask what forms of id they require along with the application

most virutal offices i called wanted the same form as UPS - so its gonna be just as hard to fake.

goodluck

and p.s. please let me know what you end up doing i need to set this up soon

Wow did this thread take a turn!? Where you at mods?? Back to the thread. You have to give them ID if you are having mail forwarded which requires the US Post Office it get involved. The box rented in a way becomes a extension of a USPS post office box, so the owner of the UPS could loose their ability to operate PO boxes if they don't follow the rules. Now if you are using the UPS as your address I don't know how they handle that.

When i fly with PIA i always bribe the guy weighing the luggage, they seem to think its perfectly normal.

All I see is newbs arguing with the more experienced members...which you should listen to their advice.

As for OP's topic, opening a po box under an alias is a no go unless you have a legit fake id. Which is usually risky when doing something like this.

When I opened a PO Box I already had a USPS online account but the made me give my id so they could photocopy it.

6 months down the line I changed my information on the USPS account online which was connected to the PO Box. So when I went to cancel the box in person they were unable to locate my box or my info.

So you can open a box in a legit name then change the info online which will take forever to find the owners info, but they will still have the original photo copied id.

If you do something like have a friend open a box for you, and add your name onto the list of people who can have access to it. They will most likely id you until they are familiar with you and will no longer ask for id which was the case for me.

I sort of rambled, it is possible to open a fake account using a fake info aslong as you have a fake drivers license/id that you actually got from the DMV. but it is very risky.

It is very possible to get legit fake ids, but that is another subject and VERY VERY risky..

Their not looking to verify your current information, they just need to get a copy of some sort of photo ID.

I used an expired ID with an old address and told them that I have since relocated to another part of town (use an actual address btw). Also ask the UPS ppl if they would be okay with using multiple DBA's to your box. I've found most of the UPS stores are actually okay with that as long as you tell them upfront.

oh and I wasn't talking about a UPS store since I don't know how the rules go there. I'm talking about the Mailbox stores (private ones). I did it at two locations. I paid extra money and they didn't take my license, so that was some good news. If I made a racist comment, then I do apologize as it was never intended. Anyways, carry on, this thread is good still.

Nah I didn't mean to be racist in anyway. Im being serious here. When I saw a white guy, they wouldn't take it. But when it came to an asian it actually worked. Not racist in anyway, just being truthful.
You sound stupid.

Care to explain what race has to do with it?

Dude - listen to yourself for as second.... You're talking nonsense.... By your logic since ONE white guy said no to you, ALL white people are going to say no to you 100% of the time, and since ONE asian happened to say yes to you, it "works every time" on them ... That's not only racist, it's idiotic ... .and actually the EPITOME of racist because it's quite literally assigning an entire outcome and an entire attitude to all persons of the same skin color - in this case actually 2 distinct racial profiles based on practically nothing lol - yes that's racist...and stuipid - but I digress

No, you can't get a UPS mailing address or a Virtual Office or anything like that in the US without an ID, they are federally regulated - unless you happen upon a REALLY shady provider, they will require valid government ID for each intended recipient, and if they receive a name to your box that they don't have ID on file for, they RTS it... same story with Virtual Offices and all that too.. anything to do with the mail.. like it has been said, find a private person at a private residence or business who would be willing to do that for you on the side, that would be your only bet

*** OOOPS lol saw this as a recent bump in the twitter feed (just became a twitter fan finally lol) didn't realize it was SO old lol ) ****
