Editing TikTok content on desktop but I've been following some pretty dated advice as to uploading content from the Mobile app

Does uploading from desktop restrict reach? Do people typically grow accounts using Desktop uploading?

I dont think it restricts reach, some of my best vids have been over desktop. It is just annoying that you cant use filters. I could be totally wrong tho

You don't? I just feel like it's inefficient to be making content on desktop, then uploading to icloud, downloading to mobile to upload when I can export the video direct to TikTok from desktop

Not my personal experience but i have seen many people here in BHW saying uploaded vids from desktop wont go viral

Yeah this was my worry when I searched the threads before posting, I wouldn't want it to affect my content reach but would be more efficient

Does anybody else have an insight? Interested before I start churning the content out

Avoid any emulators or desktop/pc. Stick to mobile devices. It limits the reach and TikTok can read that you're using an emulator or browser.
