Upload a ripped website to my hosting please??

Hi Guys,

So i have just ripped a website using HTTrack Website Copier, and im left with a bunch of files which I have no idea what do do with, so if anybody here knows anything about uploading ripped websites to my hosting (Hostgator) then I would love to work with you!

Post here with your price, or maybe if you are feeling generous and want to do a trade, I can write some articles to cover the cost??

You shouldnt be hiring people for this. Try yourself to do this.

Go to the ripped folder. You will see an index.html file. open it to make sure everything is right.So, now transfer all of those files to your webhost, and you are done with it.


And if you are stuck with how to upload files to your webhost, Go to filemanager and to your website folder, make a zip of the folder to upload, and then upload it to the host clicking the upload button in the file manager. Extract the archieve by clicking the extract button.

Make sure you remove all the "Website copied by httrack website copying software" bumpf that is at the top and bottom of each page of your site.

You'd be surprised at how anal people can be if they see that in your source, especially your competitors...
