yes it will search the web for relevant answers depending on how far back you want it to go. i set mine to the day before.

without it, chatgpt will say that it cannot answer those questions. such as the current price of btc

i have installed the chrome extension but it does not seems to work.

With third party support like this and many more, ChatGPT may become much more powerful than anticipated.
