When I upgrade to a bigger plan, does the hosting provider adjust my months left to reduce the plan payment for future plan being purchased ?

Some hosting providers want you to pay again and don't transfer non-expired dates (basically, this is a scam), while some hosting providers have no problem asking you to "top up" when your plan increases. Personally, I would only trust the second option of hosting providers.

Usually, not, the provider will request a payment for the difference between the current bill and the expected bill.

most providers will adjust your remaining months to reflect the new plan's payment, typically by prorating the cost.

Some do some plus an minus from the the point you making the upgrade
While others start charging you main money from that point
But a lot do minus the remaining credit from the the new upgrade fees

Pay your attention if the host offer the opportunity to install apps like WordPress, Joomla, or Magento easily with Softaculous or other one-click installers. This saves time and effort. Happy with GTHost vps.

Mostly depend on the provider; you can contact your provider and ask them to adjust the pricing of remain month.
