Hey guys!

So back story is kind of simple, I have a blogspot blog from 2013 with just 3 articles, with no SEO done and nothing has been done to it from the creation. But for these years, it has been getting organic traffic. Nothing much, 10-20 visits a day. But I think I could start to scale this up.

But I need some clearance, maybe someone has done this also.

1) Should I register a .com domain and point it to the blog? So it's not name.blogspot.com anymore? I checked, I can get the exact name.com
2) How safe is it to edit the template?
3) How safe is it to remove some pages? They are really outdated, and serve no purpose in 2018.

Are there any other huge things that I should be really careful with?
I haven't done anything to the site, because it's like an antique, I don't want to ruin it :D

Thank you! Share your experience please :)

Let's begin by looking at the worst case scenario which is that a website which has simply been sitting there earning you nothing continues to do the same. Take a risk and make some changes. I personally am a firm believer that Google and the search engines want to see change and progress so updating web pages and improving the content can only help in the end. I would start creating some content, getting social links, and start to monetize what you currently have. You can update the look and template without making major changes the value that is already there. Test the market and if it shows profit then I would say by the name.com and go all out building that site.

Add a custom domain (.com) and add also cloudflare for https(it can help boost your rank in google) and start doing seo. Scale it up and when you got higher traffic add some adsense ads. make some money.
