tell your host provider to upgrade it.

You should be able to update your php version manually inside your cpanel yourself, ask their support if you have issue they are always very helpful

It's easier to ask your hosting company to update from their end.

We did an SEO audit for a client last week and they were using an outdated and unsupported version on their site.

On cpanel, you can see Select PHP Version under software section.

Click on that and you can change php version.

If it is not enabled contact your host.

Thanks to all

Tanks. Done successfully.

you solve it 2 ways, firstly open your CP and then click php version. Secondly you contact your host provider.

Do you have cpanel? There is a slim chance that you will be able to choose the php version yourself. I forgot what it was called (Did not touch cpanel for a long time lol). Probably search for "php" in the dashboard and look for an option to choose PHP version.

Edit: Yepp this is what I was trying to point out.
cPanel ---> Select php version
