    Hi guys.

Does updating a content (adding texts, putting new things in that page, etc) for a page that I am trying to own a keyword with it will affect the ranking in search engines?

I know that changing in meta tags and keywords or title of a page will affect the rank in search engine but how about adding only? as far as I know it will NOT affect but some stupid gurus told me it does!

    So any help BHters :)

some people will say it doesn't, however i personally think it does.

I'm not one of those tards that thinks that the key to SEO is content, content, content. However, I have noticed on a couple of occasions that when I add content to a site...for the same page that is already aged and indexed...that my rankings have gone up the next day or two.

It's always hard to link what action led to what result in SEO, but I would say content updates work.

Adding will just help your rankings if anything. The more content the better.

I agree with d3tox, slowing adding content helps, also if you want to optimize that content for long tail keywords that are related that would hlep you as well most likely
