I just had this come though my mind, no idea if anyone has tired it, but oh well, I'll post it here anyway to see if anyone wants to try it.
The first step, is to pick a random popular last name, for example "Brooks" (My last name) then head over to GoDaddy, register "Brooks.com" or whatever, now load up some 1337 facebook application and message as many people as possible with the last name brooks, with something like "Buy [email protected] - $1", load up some host gator hosting or whatever, sell 20 emails and the rest is profit.
Dunno how it would convert, but it might convert really nicely, it might not.
