i have gotten these emails quite a lot in past spread out over time not in a short period where i get a unusual activity and it shows the ip address coming from a different country, but i know ip address can randomly change but is there any real way to tell this was someone actually thing to get in my outlook account, or just a random ip address change?

as i have gotten these fairly often in the past but i cba keep changing my damn password every time i get this meila as its a pain, but can you microsoft get my ip address wrong have you had this before ?

Browser: chrom
:)))

It's phishing

That's a phishing e-mail. If you hover over the "No it wasn't me" button I bet it points your browser to some garbage URL asking you to login with your credentials.

well i looked at the
no-reply@microsoftDOTcom and it wasnt a fake email as it didnt show up another email address

omg im blind lmao didnt even notice the bad spelling lol
Emails addresess can be spoofed, to find out the original email find headers of the email and you may found out the original sender IP, smtp used and much more . You can then paste the headers code to an analyzer , for the service to summarize it for you
