I can't open a new bank account every time I want to open a new adwords. I don't mean burner accounts with a voucher and then on to the next one, I mean long term accounts. So I'm looking into the alternative long-term options out there for funding adwords accounts in the US.
The value in this (for me at least) is that there's a ton of back-and-forthing here and elsewhere about what works and doesn't. The hearsay and misinformation is so thick and I'd rather not run around chasing moot solutions if it can be helped. It would be great to have a decent list to draw from (if that's even possible).
So I'd love to hear from people who are currently successfully using specific alternative methods: what's working for you?
Aside from debit cards, credit cards and direct debits from the bank, what methods are working for peoples in the US?
The two I'm aware of but maybe not seeing the potential in are:
visa/MC gift cards: Can you get accounts going with the visa/mastercard gift cards sold in stores? After the number, what about the billing details (address, name, etc)?
VCCs: I understand that I can create VCCs from my bank of america card for specific merchants, allowing specific amounts. The trouble there is that I still have to fill in the same billing info (name, address, etc) or the # won't process.
