[UnNulled] Fresh Store Builder 2.5

I was looking at the code in the files that were originally encrypted and it looks like the author of the program added his amazon tracking ID's to be used if an amazon country ID is not entered by the user of the program?

For example it could mean that if you don't enter an ID for the UK and someone is directed to amazon UK the program author's ID would be added to the affiliate link and not yours.

Also it looks like to null this you will have to remove/divert the callback to the author's server as they require that you enter every website URL you plan to use with the program and they keep a record of it to enable the program for those sites.

I would buy this program if they didn't insist on locking it up and making legitimate users jump through hoops to use it and then hide what is possibly link diversion in encrypted code. I'm also not comfortable giving up info on what domain or niche I want to explore as that is just like dropping your pants showing someone everything you are doing.

I am the creator and owner of Fresh Store Builder. Obviously I watch all the piracy of my software and keep a close eye on who is sharing, nulling and downloading pirate versions.

I won't preach to you about piracy, but the truth is that I can't create and improve this software if it is given away for free. I wouldn't be able to pay my team or costs, and I would abandon the software. I do understand that some people who are sharing Fresh Store Builder simply can't afford it and are just trying to make a living online - I wish I could separate these people from those who can afford it, but just want something for nothing. I would gladly give away free copies to those who really need it.

Anyway, to answer your question the code you are looking at is the license protection. If the store isn't licensed it will use a different amazon tracking id. There are several tracking ids in the code for each different locale - so if your store is set to German and isn't licensed, it will replace the amazon tracking id with the German one. If your store is licensed then only your tracking id is used, no matter what the locale etc. If you have the code looked at properly you can confirm this.

We have almost 3000 users and we simply wouldn't risk our reputation on something like this, nevermind that it is completely unethical and against my beliefs.

As far as looking at the domains/niche - there are so many stores running FSB you wouldn't believe... I have no interest in looking at peoples niches/domains (apart from it being against my ethics). No information on the traffic or earnings are recorded, so it would be impossible and pointless trying to work out what is a successful niche/store from the domain name.

Another note on piracy.. on this forum (or possibly another..) a "nulled" version of FSB was released. When I looked at it, the nuller had forced his amazon tracking id to be used no matter what you did. He must have made a lot of money out of that because there were a lot of downloads.. he also started selling this same version for $10.

If you believe me or not, the fact is you are more at risk trusting a dishonest nuller than a professional business - I have a lot more at risk, and a lot of people to answer to if I am found to be dishonest in any way.

Carey,

it's pretty widely known - that you are cheating your users and stealing their commissions - so yeah good luck with that model.

your better off back over at WF - where you can control the press.

What a refreshing and grown-up reply, fair play to you. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I was in your situation, but kudos to you.

Carey,

This is an odd conversation, but here goes.. (creator / nuller etc)

As you may have read above, I've not had the time to fully null/clean your product - the reason being is that you have done a good job of the code and product - I must give you credit for that, I'm not responsible for any bad or posioned releases.

In response to your post, I have seen the other 'nulled' version with the 'enforced' amazon id of the nuller - I'd suggest others steer away from it also - I hate such behaviour, just the same as I hate the people who infect shares in order to inject ads or malware..

I never null/clean etc for any gain or profit - and never will. it's purely a challenge I enjoy
I do often question the impact of my nulling and consider if to stop or not - it's an ongoing question I ask myself.

you are 100% totally correct - there is huge risk in trusting a dishonest nuller or if you do not know the source and/or unable to check the code for yourself. there is a minor plague of infected code being released right now, if you look at my post history, you will see I'm always looking to find, report and clean it.

As for having 'default' tracking id's - I have no problem with that, it's for the user to configure the software and obtain the id's from amazon.
There is no deception here - it's no different from many adsense products you find with a pre-loaded pub-id that you need to change to your own.

I respect and appreciate your post here.

Si

Simey,

that's not what Carey does -- how he does it is even if you enter your code - he will overwrite it with his.

it was not until he was called out on it that he admitted this was what he was doing - even though Carey offered to pay
up - he never has.

he is just a deceptive xxxxxx.

Thanks for the reply Danny,

Even though I null the stuff, I never actually use the products, so only really ever know a product by the license/activation/protection code etc.
Which means I never play about with 'user-stuff' like inputting amazon ids etc, so could only base my comment above upon Carey's response.

Cheers,
Si

The author just could release a BHW discounted product and he would probably cut out a large % of the piracy.

I for one never pay full price for a wordpress plugin/theme or any software for that matter, you can probably blame warrior forum for that mentality.

If I do not see a large slash through the price with 50% off I do not buy.

You will make way more money with WP than using his script anyway.

He thought he was being clever catching out people who stole his script and started saying there was no problem
with it - even though he was collecting the Sales from people who paid for it. Finally he started telling people to
register their sites individually. As far as I'm concerned he is a scumbag through and through.

Anyway you get the idea - just better use your own brain than rely on this script.... cheers.

Danny1111 - if I remember right, you are the user who forgot to add his site into his account. You then called me and my team all the names under the sun, claiming we stole your commissions etc. even though it was your mistake. Despite this I offered to pay you back by trying to work out what sales could be attributed to your store. I changed my mind when you posted a bunch of lies on Warrior Forum. What your saying here is completely untrue, and I won't waste my time trying to answer you anymore - this is my only response to you.

To everyone else in doubt, take a look at the code - it is unencrypted here and if there are any shady tactics such as stealing commissions, you will be able to see it. I guarantee you won't find anything. You can also ask the 2500 members who make money with FSB - Danny1111 is the only one who has ever had this complaint.

simey69 This is an odd conversation indeed.. I must say I do appreciate the desire for challenge and I used to do a few things similar for the hell of it when I was at college. I am sure you understand my argument against what you do, but you still have my respect for being able to do it and I guess it is just a challenge for me to make your job harder ;)

I had considered reducing the price for BHW members but I can't afford to discount it anymore than I do at WF (it is $37 at the moment). It would soon catch on, people know how to find a bargain and it would put me out of business.

I didn't expect to start a firestorm with my post but the responses bring up some interesting questions.

As the creator of the program you are well within your rights to protect it as you see fit but you must also know that there are affiliate marketers out here that are very wary of anything that may divert commissions.

I don?t speak for everyone but when I see a great program like yours the first thing I do is try and ascertain if the program is legit in regards to how it handles affiliate links. I will look for a hacked / cracked copy of the program to examine its code and then run it to see if it will work with what I want to do.

If it passes the first muster I buy it.

But if I find that the author has locked down the program so much that I can?t even look at the underlying code I pass on it, even if it?s available as a cracked version as it is here.

You have rebutted that you don?t hijack the affiliate link being passed onto amazon but the amazon file is one of the encrypted files and if I can?t see what you are sending to amazon I can?t trust you. Of course that code is viewable here now but the point I am making is that if I bought your program without due diligence on my part I may never have questioned what is or isn?t being passed onto amazon which would leave a door wide open.

With all that being said I don?t believe you are hijacking the affiliate ID because that would be truly shooting yourself in the foot. You may be better served to not include your affiliate ID?s even as a filler, but that would also mean you can?t encrypt the amazon file.

What I have a real problem with is that you require each website the program will run on to be registered with you. I believe you are doing this to protect the program but I would never give up my niche sites to anyone for any reason and that is a deal breaker and anyone who does do so is a fool. If I have spent the time and money to find a profitable niche I am sure as hell not going to hand it over to you or anyone else.

This article is from 6 years ago but it is a perfect example of what I mean when I say that no one should give up what they are doing with a niche site as an affiliate. http://goyami.corante.com/archives/2006/01/31/are_affiliate_network_employees_stealing_your_business.php
A major affiliate network allowed their own people to steal and profit from their affiliates and in turn became super affiliates.

You will do as you see fit but whenever I see a program like this I wonder how much business you are missing out on from marketers like me who would gladly pay $100+ but without the restrictions you are now placing on the program.

Basically I like your program but I don?t want your nose in my business, good intentions or not you are not entitled to my marketing and niche site ideas.

That is the biggest truth you have in knowing I wouldn't steal commissions - if I did, the nuller would have found it here and it would be over the internet like wildfire. My business (and future reputation) would be destroyed.

The reason we do it is because you can have a single store license, unlimited or somewhere in between. While we keep this model we would always have to register your domain name in some way. We don't record any details about your sales or traffic so there is no way we could pick out the top performing stores and steal the idea. The best we could do is say "Ohhh GreenMonkeyCostumes - I bet that is a great niche!".

Of course from my POV it is completely unethical and something I would never do, but the above is your guarantee.

Thanks for the link, I can see how this could happen. Ultimately you are trusting your niche stats with the affiliate program and/or affiliate network as they have all the information (sales, clicks, conversions, your site details etc.). Some people say that Amazon use their affiliate stats to make decisions on their site and promotions, which is arguably stealing your hard work.

You will do as you see fit but whenever I see a program like this I wonder how much business you are missing out on from marketers like me who would gladly pay $100+ but without the restrictions you are now placing on the program.

If there are enough people put off by it then I will look at another way to protect FSB, but I can't think of anything that would work without having to enter the URL in some way. I have had a couple of people comment on this but this is literally less than 5 in two years.

Thank you for your input, its great to know what users really think and what motivates your decisions.

Let me make clear that the next spontaneous "honest review" post will get the thread closed. I 'm keeping it open to promote the exchange of views but registering new accounts to advertise how great your software is will not be accepted.

You still don't get it, those GreenMonkeyCostumes sites are not what I am talking about it's the ones that make real money. The real money niche sites don't come easy and everyone is looking for them. That's why this forum exists, we are all trying to get an edge on the competition with shared ideas and tools.

Besides if you have several thousand people using your software we know they are not all GreenMonkeyCostumes websites. You have access to every site they have set up and every niche they are trying. You may not have any code in your program to track them but once you have that website URL it's easy to watch those niches with a variety of tools and in turn create your own niche sites to compete.

The info you collect by requiring website registration is gold and many people would pay cash to have that list.

Don't know if you are taking advantage of that info or not but as I've said before anyone trusting their niche sites to a company like yours, is a fool.

Due diligence

Carey - stop with the BS

you said you would provide the list of sales - you then said there were no sales - then you said there were too many sales

the only reason you admitted the you inserted your code into people's sites was because this was brought into the daylight.

Basically Carey you are just a lying scumbag - you can make up 100 excuses until Sunday but the fact is you said there was nothing wrong with the sites - while you were stealing sales from me and other people.

So yeah live a lie - its no problem to me .. your a thief - end of story.

(basically anyone who bought this script in the beginning was just lining your pockets - until you were outed for your hidden security features and stealing everyone's sales -- after you made more Script Sales - you then revealed what you had been doing by telling people that you would take their sales if they didn't register their sites with you.)

--- easy to fix - just pay me the money you owe me...that you said you would pay.

People might say I am being too harsh .. but the fact is Carey stole my sales from 20 sites for 3 months - all the while telling me there was no problem -- when more people started asking the same question - it then came to light about his security features etc.... he promised to repay the money he stole - but haven't seen a dime - but I have heard 100 excuses.

Just answer 3 questions : 1. Did you Steal Commissions by inserting your Affiliate Code into My Sites and Other People's Sites before you told anyone at that time that you had hidden security features? 2. Did you promise to pay me the money you stole from me ? 3. Where is the payment ?

Mods - I request Carey repay the money stolen from me - or be banned from BHW.

As I said he blatantly admits stealing from me - and his excuse for non payment is that I was rude to someone who worked for him - Well lets get real here - Carey Baird lied / cheated and stole money from me over the course of 3 months - I constantly questioned him about it and he said everything was working perfectly (perfectly for him) .... of course I am going to get a little upset about it - as I'm sure most people would in that position when you find out you have been deceived like that.

So when I tell Carey I have 13 checkouts but no money in my account (per day) -- he says they didn't pay for the goods - then he goes to the Affiliate account he set up for this robbery and sees 11 Sales from my sites (per day) -- and this goes on for months - there really is nothing else you can call it but Fraud. After 3 months he finally admits the Sales went to his account and he would pay me and I need to register my sites with him or he will keep taking the Sales.

(I purchased an Unlimited Licence and was one of the first users - which was why he never revealed his security features at that time - he didn't want anyone to know - well that's what he told me later.)

Anyway I will leave it to the Mods to decide - there is nothing more to say on this from my side.

I believe this thread has run its cycle and has nothing more of interest to contribute, so it 's closed before it turns into a big drama. Everyone has had the chance to express their views.

Danny1111, regarding your request, you 've been a member since 2011. You should know that disputes between members are not getting resolved in random threads but in the shitlist. If you have an issue, there 's the place to go.

That said, you should carefully read the shitlist rules before starting one: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/shit-list/117176-shit-list-rules.html
