How do I unlock an iPhone 4 from AT&T to use on other network?
Do I need to jailbreak?
Yes on which IOS you are?
No. Jailbreaking is only unlocking your phone so it can use cracked applications. You need a factory unlock.
What IOS are you running?
No Jail Break Required. you just contact Apple and pay, roughy £25 to be taken off a "Locked List" AT&T had the phone originally placed on. It can take up to 14 days to process. But this is the best way to do it because it's legit and means you won't encounter any problems in the distant future when you upgrade your operating systems etc. Hope this helps
If you're talking about using it for prepaid or something then you need to change the APN settings. We use straight talk and we also had to trim our SIM cards down to fit. Just google about the APN settings.
