I guess Dig is going to find out about it soon because of the spike in commenting all posts and shut the option down :)

This is a good way to get high pr back links. thank you for sharing it.

Wow this is absolutely great idea

thanks for sharing

i'm sure these wont be worth too much... maybe just like links in forum sigs

i would think they are worth a lot more than forum sig links

The problem is that, Google will only count 1 of your links from Digg :(

Well it looks like the party is over http://digg.com/world_business/popular/365days/page2 doesn't have any PR anymore and i have clicked to 20 none of them have PR, ohw well was fun while it lasted.

Well it doesn't seem that the party is over yet. I did some search, and I found some PR 1-3 pages on digg!! Well, I don't know how somebody would find a PR7-8 as mentioned in first post :) Even if there was a PR 8 or PR 9 page on dig, I don't think that you would ever get a chance to have your comment on the first page which has the high PR. Correct me if I am wrong!

lool man this is out of control I can really see goog3 emailing dik in the future telling them to remove links from their comments

Genius!

Google won't penalise you if you control yourself! Just do a few everyday! Space it out.

Should I ping the pages after I leave comments?

There are plenty of PR0 - PR4. Just find the ones over 200 days old and preferably with not many comments (but lots of digs)

Hello
I was convinced that Di**gg had a no follow setting on their comments? If not then great :)
In the other side I guess Google will blok this thing soon if not blocked already and even ban or punish the sites linking there..? They will find a turnaround, something like if a link posted over 5 - 10 times on di*gg then he is a spam domain..
not sure how long this thing will last.. if still working.

Lets keep this thing to ourselves only LOL :D

I don't believe that Google will ban this if you use it properly. If you go around acting like a noob and putting just your url on irrelevant pages then YES you will be banned by Google eventually. But if you post relevant comments with your website link in it (website has to be relevant too) than you will most likely not get banned.

yeah just dont go spamming 1000 links do 1-10 everday that way if g00gle catches you

I totally agree with you. I'm thinking if you do it right, then it will work for a little while, but not Long Lasting effects.

Google's not going to "ban" your site period. You are not going to get your site banned for incoming links... think about it? If you could get banned for incoming links, wouldn't you just go and spam your competitors links to get them banned?

The worst that will happen is Google will not count the links. But that probably won't happen, because digg is democratic. If your comments get caught and burried, they won't show on the page anymore.

Which is the beauty of this method. If you find articles with PR, and <50 comments, that are over 150 days old, chances are no one is going to find your comment and bury them.

And you don't need a ton of PR4 links to pass your PR4 on to your blog (esp. if there aren't any other outbound links on the page). I would bet with about 10 or so PR4 incoming links to your site from digg, you'll find your site to be a PR4 within 90 days. :)

So in other words, don't go crazy spamming every page with PR. You can get a 2 or 3 PR4 link everyday for the next week, and you'll be good to go :)
