Sir it means unlimited bandwith, disk space, websites,emails etc. dear kind mister, but it all BS.
Basically unlimited sounds better than limited sir that's it.

they advertise as unlimited but the fact is they are not. Start using more CPU power and they will send you mail to upgrade the package. If you start getting more traffic, they will even ask you to shift to vps or they will shut your account. They limit you with number of inodes. If you exceed their defined number, you are done

All resources are limited - what the host may mean by "Unlimited" is that they think it's unlikely that you'll ever reach their limits (which they don't tell you about). If that happens, they'll try to sell you a more expensive product. Absolute BS.

Well it depends. There's one thing about unlimited hosting - the bandwidth limit is much better than the VPS. But the VPS has better power in terms of CPU, RAM, memory etc. The only problem with VPS as far as I can see is the bandwidth limit.
