University Links

Hi,

I wondering how some of my competitors are getting links from reputed universities like illinois state university and Texas University. From personal blogs in the university sites.
Is there anyone who can offer these kind of services? I have good budget with me for these kind of links.

Any suggestions will be helpful for me.

I think you should find somebody in BST market place for this!

Paid Links ? Surely you will get it in BST...

The edu and gov link packages in the BST sections are not editorial backlinks and they are not nearly as powerful as the backlinks your competitors have. You can't gain those university backlinks in any other way except publishing great content that they deem useful enough to link to.

make a list of those links and then contact publishers , you might strike gold.

It's going to be very difficult and i strongly doubt if anyone offers these services.

You may want to try guest blogging with them.

Alternatively, seek for quality blog network and if you can afford private network they are the best.

University or government links aren't powerful because they are on an .edu or .gov domain, that's simply a myth. They are powerful because .edu and .gov sites are linked from a shitload of really powerful sites with enormous trust. These kind of sites often link to similar sites, so it's some kind of huge network with extreme authority.

What people often don't get: A link from some shitty .edu student blog comment or forum profile aren't worth more than a link from "My Spammy Review Blog" I created in 5 minutes yesterday, but if you get linked from a real editorial page linked within the navigational structure of the site, maybe just a few jumps away from the mainpage, this link can be a game changer.
