I was at university 1 and half years ago, at university they give you a an email address

I happen to have access to the email address still and it is linked with everyone who has ever gone to the university. And i can send emails to all of them from the email account.
Just loading the name A - makes my computer go slow as there are thousands.

Would you spam these people with click bank affiliate link to buy shit? what would you do with this content. I don't want them to know its me and its from a former student either. But students seem to be a good target market cuz they have alot of money to waste, what product wud u offer them or anything.

    Any help is appreciated!

-affiliate products related to "how to make money online" - as a student, you always need money. :)
    -sell them text books.
-find a local bar/restaurant and charge them to send out promo/free coupons.
    -cpa

Like Alaltaierii said, the "How to make money" stuff would be great or if you're unsure what to do with that list, just sell it out to someone! :)

hit them hard, and don't worry about it. to your ex teachers, your just another student, and they all come and go.

I don't think there is a way to get around.
University-provided emails are under an account administrator.

Should i make a landing page for products?

or should i just shorten the affiliate link and make an elaborate email and send it off to the target market.

    Question

How would you guys scrape this list?

I go to one of the most expensive universities in the world, and theoretically the mailing database would have hundreds of thousands of e-mails...

Oh what a goldmine you've stumbled across my friend lol
what I would say is simple, a bit tedious though.

Schedule one day this week and just load each letter (A - Z) one by one and copy/paste the emails into separate txt files. Do number (0 - 9) as well. Make an account on a web email client like MailChimp or Aweber and import the list (mailchimp has better import rate from my experience) Then find your product...whatever you would like to sell, set up an Amazon affiliate account and try to sell books. Of course this is just one example, you'll need to make the email look as non spammy as possible and try to make it sound personal.

This is the route I would take, of course the sky is really the limit here. If its hundreds of thousands of emails, you'll probably have to pay a fee on the web clients, maybe like $49ish? idk, but if you do this right, you'll see good $$

Okay yeah, seriously, the dollar signs are just ringing inside my head.

My university database has e-mails of hundreds of thousands college aged kids coming from upper middle class to upper class backgrounds in the U.S (top 30 university). Does anyone know of a good way to harness all these e-mails?
