Why is it not a good idea to use Google analytics if I am doing SEO?
I have SEO'd my site and working on getting baclinks right now and I have

I'm sorry but some of the answers here are LOL worthy and should not be taken seriously at all.
Use Google Analytics. It's the best tool for checking your traffic accurately. You can see almost every detail about your daily traffic with the right filters. Play around with it. Don't PM anyone your site. That is need to know, and most of BHW doesn't need to know.

analytics - I already tried clicky and piwik. clicky is more informative but it comes with a price. analytics is great if you wanna flip your site - make it look legit and people trust more if its coming from analytics.

I have over 100 websites if one gets taken down chances are most of them will, allowing Google to access your site is telling them that you own more because the same script is on all of your sites.
