Unique, high quality product descriptions - How much?

Hi everyone, I would like to know what I could expect to pay on freelancer or an equivalent site for unique, high quality product descriptions for adult products. The descriptions should be 100 - 200 words and be informative, as well as persuade the customer to buy the product.

I'm currently writing copy that intends to promote and sell at a rate of approximately $15/100 words. Product descriptions might be a bit less. I'm sure that number would change for someone who isn't fluent in English (would be less) or who has massive amounts of experience and references (would be more).

I've worked as one. I charged $30/hr, min $20/hr for a friend. I wrote ~300 to ~400 w in that period of time. $10-$15 per up to 200 w is what I'd expect any similar-caliber freelancer to charge. Of course, if you look at the forum, you'll find much better deals.

You'd be looking at $2-4 for descriptions written by native English speakers. Or, you can go the ultra-high quality route and pay $15 each.

I found $1 to $2 per 100 words is the sweet spot for affordability and quality. You don't need your vibrator and butt plug descriptions to win Pulitzers, do you?

I didn't know one needed to persuade guys to buy pornography (just kidding). I would say $3 for a complete description by a clueless native English speaker and up to $10 for
someone who knows their craft.
