I have seen a lot of threads and posts talking about spun articles as I read up on content. I have learned that search engines loves unique content and was wondering, how can you make sure that your content is unique if you outsource the tasks? Should I expect to receive spun articles?

I am thinking that I might be better off focusing on getting better at article writing. I was only thinking about outsourcing because I want to focus on traffic generation and SEO.

Thanks for any insight or advice in advance!

Go to Copyscape and pay 5 cents for every search. They'll tell you if it's unique or not.

I use Copyscape all of the time and have had good experiences so far. It seems to pick up a lot of things that other free plagiarism checkers like Plagium leave out.

Google and Copyscape. They are the best bet in order to check the uniqueness of an article.

I have had my articles that I have written all copyscaped. It is just a way to ensure that it is unique.

Have the re-written articles checked through Copyscape and Google, like the above people suggested. I still thought that original articles are unique.

what are the other things plagium leaves out?

Copyscape everything that you buy. Make sure that the person you are outsourcing knows that copying will not be tolerated and if it does not pass then you do not pay. Be upfront with them, this is the best policy.

There are a lot of online plagiarism checkers that you can use. What you should expect to receive is directly proportional to what you pay.

I usually use Copyscape as well. But I also usually take 3 sentences and search them in Google with quotes. I take a sentence from the first paragraph, the middle and towards the end and search it in Google for exact match. You would be amazed at how often you find articles that are technically "uniqiue" that are nothing more than plagiarized articles with just enough different to help pass detection. Usually these articles won't hurt you as far as Google is concerned but it is nice to know whether or not you have somebody trustworthy doing the work which I value above all else.

Are you still around, rodowdy? I tried to PM you about a PostLoop collaboration but your Inbox is full. ;-)

I am always around! Lol -- I think I'm called a 'lurker' (with limited knowledge I read more than post). Not sure how I missed your reply. Sorry about the inbox, cleaning it out now...

Thank you everyone for your input. What I am getting is I just need to pay for the copyscape.. I only have 3-4 articles written by other people, so I will pay for them to be checked soon. In the future I will put that into my overall price when I try and find writers.

About PL ** off topic a bit ** I haven't post in a while. It is easy and as steady as I posts, but I thought of working on a few 'bigger' projects. I might have to revisit soon, just for the easy $$.. Look forward to your pm..

Copyscape is the best solution as of now. I think you can even use Google because it's the second best option to detect plagiarism.
