Ungrateful Little S*&#

Sometimes I just don't get some people. I had this conversation with a guy that sought me out, asked me if I could help him with his IM business. He was selling CVs DB and Email lists.

So he messages me this morning and asks

"Can you please help me save my business?"'

I respond telling him, I might be able to help him asking what type of business he needs help with. He tells me what it is and after a short explanation about how he wanted to get leads for recruiters.

He shows me some shitty little wix site that wont ever convert any leads.

I take a look at his site and determine that I could actually help him. I inquired about what type of budget he is working with and of course it is zero ($0.00).

Im shaking my head....I get hundred of people asking me to build their business for them for free every week, like literally.

I explained to him that it is a lot of work to set up a successful business, pointing out costs, like good graphics, good lead capture systems, marketing software costs, vps costs and of course the man hours that go into launching a business.

I then suggested to him a contest (I'm sure some of you have already seen it in my recent banner below) that was just launched by the company I work with (Paigham Bot) and that maybe he should enter that since he has no budget. That way he had an opportunity to get everything he needs to launch a successful business.

He essentially told me to go fuck off.

Confused by his sudden change of language, I asked him why the attitude. His reply was, why the fuck would he waste his time entering this when he wont win! He again told me to fuck off.

Thinking to myself, I wondered how this guy got this far at all in life! I told him with that attitude he wont get very far with anything. I also told him the old adage about trying to lead a horse to water, but cant make them drink...

Again, with the f-bomb.

So after a few more attempts to inspire a better attitude ( and being a better human being since his display was pretty bad) I just told him not to worry about it. Not to enter, because it probably wouldn't work out because the way he acts and disrespects people when he is begging for a hand out any way, that we probably wouldn't want to work with someone that has such a bad attitude and perspective on life.

Well he didn't like that at all and had aa few more choice words for me, and me...being the hippie that I am just parted ways still wishing he found what he was looking for and good luck with his business.

Some people in this world will never succeed simply because they don't have the right perspective on life.....

Those are the people that fail at internet marketing!

The Moral Of The Story: Negative thinking will drag you down and disrespect will possibly lose you an opportunity that could have changed your life!

This guy is a member in this forum and I hope he reads this and learns a lesson.

Lesson #2: An apology can go a long way

You should list his profile, I am sure you can find by his skype ID.

Good for you for keeping a calm demeanor even when someone decides to be a prick. It takes a lot of maturity and mental fortitude to do that. Respect +1.

At least you tried, sounds like he wanted you to go in fix everything and hand him the keys and just say "here is your money machine"

I dont want to embarrass him too much. Not my style unless someone threatens me....He pretty much said everything but any actual threat.

Welcome to my facepalm world everytime I log on here. I had a surge of spam before the new BHW with people begging me to just hand them my businesses on a golden platter to them. Essentially with all the WSIDOM I poured freely out I see that the community has declined into demntia even faster.

Bitching about it won't help. I tend to actually just stop trying to help people, let them fail over and over until I feel its time to contribute again. I feel that even if I spelled every detail out, shit down their throats, and then handed them to keys to my vault they wouldn't even know what to fucking do. The best thing someone did with my information, so far, was resell it in a WSO and claim that they came up with all of it by themselves.

I figure let people fail. Avoid the bullshit and do what I do, charge for my time and ideas. If any little shit actually has money enough to pay me and then talk shit about my ideas, at least I got paid for it. I use bitcoin for the wannabe GAYPAL scammers that think charge backs are cool and the new thing. I had a offline customer the other day try to demand me to pay back their money because they weren't interested in my service anymore. After tracking their site I found that had gotten 31 conversions, and on average that was great for a few minor tweaks and ad platform runs. Before me they had said 5~7 conversions were great. After showing him my data collected from his campaign he got irrate and threatened me with the police. I tried hard not to laugh as my contract with him covers my ass pretty well. In short fuckers wanna fuck you no matter what.

Doesnt only accepting bit coin limit the number of people that buy. I tried bit coin too on one site, and conversions were low, as soon as I add paypal lots more sales.

The friendly fraud scammers are def shit, I think we all hate them for sure....but at some point, when one is doing so much business you have to just have some expectation that a small percentage of people will just be pieces of shit.

I run into these people from time to time too. They beg for help, have no budget, no patience, no brains, and get irate when you can't or refuse to help. By "help" it's usually do the work for them.
I don't mind trying to help others out, but too many of them seem to be spoiled and expect you to hand them the world in first 5 minutes of talking.
It's all about having the right positive perspective on things like you said. That will take you to your goals.

Its always nice to give back and help someone when you can, or even get them on the right track. Sometimes you get nothing from it, but good deeds do come back, atleast IMO. Karma and what not.

But if an experience IM person setup a "cash machine" for a newbie to get them started.... I think it would be an injustice to that person. It will burn out because they will have no idea how to manage it, and they didn't learn anything.

I guess this kind of situation happen on real life world as well beside on the Internet . It's hard to find people like U who have such a great Heart to forgive and forget this ignorant people . U have my hats off .

Part of the struggle is learning during the fail/success phase for sure. Lessons for life in general. That is how people grow and expand their ability.

I had it too.
They want you to build there business for free, And they dont even want to do any work themselves.

Obviously they dont have any money,

I usualy ask them to do some little boring task that will take them a couple of hours
Never hear from 90% of them again

I helped some guys out a couple of years ago who also had a $0 budget. That was the first and last time I made that mistake.

I don't mind posting useful stuff in the forum. But when people take advantage of your generosity, and expect spoonfeeding to no end, that's where I draw the line.

If you can't figure stuff out on your own, you are in the wrong business. Morons and leeches deserve to be unsuccessful.

I recently stopped using my Skype and removed it from this forum as I was receiving numerous requests from people who, as Skyebug77 said, expect you to build their business. There were a couple of people who I didn't mind helping as they pretty much only asked me for advice and did the work themselves (these are the people who have potential), but those people were few and far between. Every day on Skype it was the same thing:

• I log in and see a bunch of contact requests and messages.
• I get a bunch of messages at the same time that all say, "Are you there?"
• I try to respond to them quickly, but then a few of them get impatient and ask why I'm ignoring them.
• A few jokers will ask a broad question like, "how to make money?".
• Another one will ask me to help them with something illegal.
• 5 other people will send joint venture project proposals.
• I deny the joint venture proposals.
• Some people will ask why I think they can't improve my business (while none of them know what I actually do) or they ask why I don't trust them (a stranger).
• Someone will try calling me and I hear that ridiculous Skype ringtone.
• A sexy Skype spam bot will message me with Imgur album and affiliate links.
• A few people will take the slow response time as a personal attack and assume I think I'm too good to message them back quickly.
• I log off and repeat the cycle the next morning.

I can't realistically help every person that contacts me, and that's something many of these people don't understand. They're sitting in their chairs and the only thing on their minds is, "Gee, I wonder why Zwielicht hasn't responded to me in the last 15 seconds. Is he ignoring me?". They don't have to juggle helping multiple people at the same time, work, and personal messages.

Yeah it's like the ambulance is coming to pick me up. No no it sounds more like the hearse is coming to pick me up for my final ride.

I had a similar experience two days ago, but in reverse.
I asked a member for informations about a post he have made,
i simply wanted some links or bread crumbs to know in which way i have to search,
the greedy kid wanted money for this.... Pay me 50$ and i can help you,
i told him that i dont want him to set any thing up or such stuff, simply some links and little advice.
Then he told me know how has his price.... i was shocked to meet such people here.
I asked a other member the same question, and the member tried to help me as much he can,
without charging for informations.... I think some people are not understanding what
being part of a community means.....
