UnGagged Australia (needs to happen)

Not really sure where to put this, so I'll just leave it here and see what happens.

I really think there are enough people from Australia that would attend a BHW Conference in Sydney, Australia. The Flippa guys could be featured guests and marketing samurai should be able to attend also. I know there are a tonne of not so active BHW members that would come along once they hear about it.

Make it happen Mr Trevatt.

It should be in Brisbane but. If it was in Sydney you'd need to arrive a week early to find the venue.
 
I'm in Melbourne and I'm 15 so I won't even attend. But it would be cool for Ungagged to come to Australia.
 
personally i would have in asia somewhere like Bangkok, as its only 4 hours or so from India and close to many countries that have plenty of members, just my thought

But it's about a 9 hour flight from Sydney to Bangkok.

true and same at least for any asians going down under. I think a central location like Bangkok would attract loads more attendees, plus look at costs, you can get a pretty ok hotel in Bangkok foy $50 a night, something you would struggle to do in Australia

Yeah good point. Your taxi to the hotel would be $50 in Sydney. Bangkok is also a much more fun city than Sydney, no offence Sydney-siders.
 
agree with Jak19 bangkok would be fun , we have alot of people from south east asia (india,pakistan,bangladesh)
 
I don't think there's anywhere in the world I wouldn't want to see Ungagged to be honest (within reason).

As great as the countries would be, it's the event that makes it!

Otherwise we Indians also asked to have it in India. :)
But Now we have to rock in London. :)
 
How about this for a suggestion then... We do UnGagged APAC that involves all Asia-Pacific Region. A country like Indonesia would very much benefit from an injection of income and the mixture of people/cultures at this conference would be AMAZING!

I used to fly regularly between Melbourne and Sydney and the taxi to the airport would often be more expensive than the flight.
 
Hi all, let's do one at a time eh! London in May, Vegas in November, who knows where we'll end up in 2016, but there's only one way to get a real flavour of an UnGagged event and that's to invest the time and money into coming to one. Wherever we chose someone has to fly a long way, nowhere is off the radar so lets see what the future brings but the more people who come to the existing events will inspire us to spread our wings. Hope to see you somewhere this year.

Well, if you are traveling to sydney's airport with not so many stuffs then you should use the train system.

From central station --> international or domestic airport only takes 10 minutes and it shouldn't cost you too much, 16$ max (one way) i believe. If u have opal cards, it should be less than 13$.

But indeed, Bangkok is a hell of a good place to visit, everything is cheap and nice, one of the best place in SEA.

Simply a suggestion mate. Although, it isn't quite within most people's reach to fly to the other side of the world to attend an SEO conference, especially since SMX comes here. I guess I'm saying that if you really want to reach out to the world with UnGagged, then make an effort to cater to everyone eh! It would be amazing to have an Asia-Pacific conference and having speakers that know and tested the local search grounds. We all know that what happens in the US and UK doesn't necessarily happen in India or Australia. All I'm saying is we are here.
