Unfortunately, both WTB and HAF on this forum are a joke nowadays

This is not criticism for BHW mods, they are probably doing their best and they are currently reviewing a scam accusation that I made. I just hope this thread is not locked in a few hours.

I'm talking about the sellers. I've been trying to hire someone and buy some services on this forum since last week, but it's simply unbearable. My posts were bombarded by 3 kind of people:

- Spammers: they simply do not read what I'm saying, they are probably bots triggered by some kind of keyword and post their reply. When you talk to them, they simply can't provide what I'm looking for. Their bot system do not read my specifications, so they just offer a vague service ignoring my mentioned personal needs. In the end it's a waste of time for everyone.

- Scammers: accounts created this year offering any kind of service, they have everything when you check their post history, they are offering vccs, reddit comments, press releases, facebook accounts, cloaking tools, whatever you want, they have. Also, they have fake feedback created by newbie accounts with 0/1 post. Just to say about verified upgraded members, I also reported some newbies bothering me with Telegram usernames (solved by mods).

- Farms and resellers: overpriced services resold by farms. You check their sales threads, compare with other members and you can see they have multiple accounts selling the same service (or reselling with overpriced fees). Also vague, they do not read my specifications, just copy and paste the same offer and hope it is what I need.

Truly hard to find something useful on those sections in 2026, maybe in a few days some human beings will take the time to read something and offer a personalized offer based on my needs instead of just repeatdely copying and pasting the same text for everyone, until then, I'm forced to look for real workers elsewhere.

And what do you suggest to make this better?
This forum is about suggestions

Especially those people that can do anything and provide everything

This is quite simple
Just be a human being

Read what I'm looking for
Can you offer it? Yes? Send me a message
No? Do not answer.

But you need to read
The problem is exactly it. They are either automated profiles or humans copying and pasting the same answer everywhere without taking the time to read and make sure they are really capable of providing the buyer with an appropriate service.

You see this group... They are fu*king terrorists : D

You would see a thread reach like page 3 in just a couple of minutes and you can easily tell the comments are just AI
It definitely has elements of botting because it's not humanly possible to post a comment that fast if they actually typed it

And it just makes it so bad that in the middle of all that, even if someone genuinely comments, the OP would already be overwhelmed to even go through anything at that point

I'm still very hopeful all these issues will be history sooner or later.
There will be something that eradicates this because this isn't the first or second post about people submitting complaints about this very issue, so I know for sure the Mods must be working to correct it for the good of everyone

Even yourself you didn't read what i said...

How moderators can fight such behavior and make the wtb and haf section better place without those...
The suggestions go to people who run the place not to...

WTB and HAF have been at the head of our conversations recently. We're aware that those sections need working on, especially HAF, and we have been taking more time to delete the number of spam threads in there recently. But we know this isn't the only issue in there.

We will be talking again about those sections over the coming weeks and coming up with a strategy to curtail unwelcome posting behaviour and spamming in them.

In the meantime, we encourage anyone intending on posting threads in there to be very specific about what they're looking for. If you don't want AI-generated responses, say so. If you don't want anyone who mindlessly or relentlessly replies to those sections, say so. And so on. Then, if there are any members who do not follow your instructions, or are offering services you didn't ask for, we will warn them. It's your thread and your business and therefore your rules - as long as they fall within our rules obvs :)

We'll leave this thread open a little longer for further discussion.

If you post in HAF/WTB sections in the future, add a message - Please start your response with "I've read your post", otherwise I'll ignore it.

This way, you can get rid of many bots. You can add further specifications to filter responses like asking them to mention their experience in an area of work like "SEO experience in Casino niche," "Refund rate for accounts," "Years of work as a VA," etc. The bots will be overwhelmed with the details while regular sellers will be happy to give you the details you want.

The biggest problem is the copy paste ai responses.. Its obvious when someone hasnt even read the thread

If it´s possible to make it. I would maybe add some kind of CAPTCHA feature for those two categories.
When making a comment, you would need to make captcha. That way, maybe this blocks certain automated messaging features. This forces at least a "real" person to react in some way, giving the chance to read the actual thread and see if I can offer this person what they are looking for.

But yeah, a lot of people here try to make sales even though they can't actually provide the service in question. Of course, many might be reselling... But who knows with these things...

I guess it wouldn't help bro
BHW Marketplace itself has captcha solvers xD

As much as I hate to say it, this problem is kind of like an onion. You peel away one layer and then you have to deal with the next.

As @SettingSun77 said, we are actively talking about the issue so we're painfully aware something needs to be done. We're not sitting on our hands, but we need to study the problem and try to make the best decisions possible.

In the meantime, I think the best suggestion I've seen here is for WTB/HAF posters to be very specific about what they want/need/require. Then when your thread is spammed, report it (if we don't see it first) and we can deal with it.

However, if anyone else has suggestions or ideas please post them. There may be something we haven't thought of that's a low hanging fruit.

I just read your post on HAF and i understand what you're saying, after asking a follow up question to anyone who offered a solution you could only hear crickets

It has become the norm for many people to have shorter attention spans. They read only the first few lines, assume they understand the rest, fill in the gaps with their own assumptions, and rush to reply instead of taking the time to fully understand the message.

Trust me, not everyone behaves like this.

The golden age of BHW marketplace is gone. Now its just full of shitty sellers and service providers.

It's not even that, half the replies to some threads are 2-3 paragraphs long, but posted literally seconds after the OP. That's not a human ignoring the details, that's bots set to auto-reply.

However, if anyone else has suggestions or ideas please post them. There may be something we haven't thought of that's a low hanging fruit.
Unfortunately, I think the underlying issue is more broad than WTB/HAF, it's just too easy for people to spam "discount plz" 100 times and suddenly be approved to sell here.

Avoid by dealing with oldies then
Because, seriously..it's hard keeping them off

I am not sure it works like that.
