Hi everyone,
I recently faced an unexpected billing issue with AWS.
I created an Amazon Aurora Serverless v2 database only for testing and assumed it would not charge if not actively used. Unfortunately, it kept billing in the background and I ended up with a $300+ charge, even though there was no real usage.
I’ve already closed the account and contacted AWS Billing via live chat for a courtesy refund (still waiting for the agent).
Has anyone here experienced something similar with Aurora Serverless v2?
Did AWS refund the amount (full or partial)?
Would really appreciate hearing your experience.
Thanks!
