Understanding safepages

Hello,

I’ve been trying to understand safepages or at the very least how related they should be to “money” page.

I know the basics on how they should be legit and all but I’m more interested in the resemblance, eg; I want to run an ad for a crypto or gambling. Wouldn’t I need a safe page that has similar keywords? I assume the whole point of the ad is to attract specific customers. I wouldn’t want a safe page about cars or so when I truly need clicks based of crypto. Any input is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

No because you're not really trying to rank the safepage. In theory you already got the traffic. The safepage is simply your safe harbor.

Appreciate the reply, so the safepage could be anything? Then how do I make sure I get the targeted clicks I want. Say I create a domain load up a safe page and make an account for said domain. At what point do I begin work to redirect the clicks to my actual pages?

Getting the targetted traffic is one thing. Then leading that traffic to its target is another. Cloaking goes in the latter.

Yes you do need your own hosting for this.

Read up on cloaking on this forum and out on the WWW, as you read a bit more it'll become clearer.

I’ve been reading up and I finally got the gist of it, the cloaker could be a simple php script incorporated into the hosting? I’ve go my own hosting already. Would the cloaked also allow me to toy with the keywords? Say change something like car to show crypto or would I implement my keywords directly into the campaign m?

You're on the right track for a first test. Don't use your main advertising account though at first.
