Understanding Howie Schwartz's method

Just trying to understand his web 2.0 as a weapon concept. He says in his video that he does not create landing pages anymore, infact he directly links to the hoplink i.e. his affiliate link.

my question is that web 2.0 does not allow us to create our own pages, in almost all of the web 2.0 sites we can only bookmark sites that are already published someplace else. so everytime he creates a web2.0 bookmark, does he submit his affiliate link directly?

and what about the content? the content looks like spam to me in his videos..

has anyone tried howoes method?

i know this method is gold and bound to work, im sure im just not looking at it from the right angle.

There is a difference between web 2.0 "properties" and "bookmarks". He uses sites like Squidoo, hubpages, ezine (not really web2.0), and other similar sites to use as his "landing pages".

THEN he uses bookmarks to build links to those pages

It should go

bookmark -> web 2.0 property -> affiliate link

The goal is to use the authority of say, squidoo, to rank higher on google. He does this buy linking to it with bookmarks etc.
 
This sounds like a few years ago when you could just plop your affiliate link in adwords. I'm interested in reading/viewing the video, as I have recently downloaded it.

Most of the stuff Howie shows in his videos is his affiliate promotions - promotions that are targeted for quick cash. So he mostly just copies and pastes copies from the seller into his own landing pages, and then gets backlinks to his money page to rank high in Google.

That's basically what he does for quick affiliate promotions. For his long-term campaigns, he does things a lot more detailed and efficiently.
 
howie has great methods that work thats why i like him I have all of his stuff.
 
When it comes to quick hits the content doesn't need to be "amazing" just good enough for the user to click on your affiliate link. When it comes to more longer term projects better content can be used.

But at the end of the day you need to satisfy the searches intent, if they enter in a certain query into google then they are more likely to click on listings that are in line with whatever they want.

If you don't provide "what they want" or their intent on your site then it doesn't matter how good the quality of the content is, they will just go elsewhere.

which videos from howie are best to watch first to get started
 
i really need some help. it would be nice if we could go thru steps what needs to be done with some example.

If i choose keyword that has 4000000 results in normal search and 5000 results in quoted search and 800 average monthly searches is it good to be used with howies method or not

Doesnt Howie have his own program for bookmarks??? I can't remember the name of it though...

Howies book marking program is Bookmarking Generation just add dot com for the link. You can create 300 bookmarking accounts a day in theory.

I was a member a while ago but I don't know how effective it is now hope that helps?
 
OK cool I wonder how that compares to bookmarking demon have you tried any others???

ive even used google advanced search and it comes up with nothing

this technique is starting to lose value as staying high up in the search engines doesn't last very long anymore. Howie does provide great content, some of the best I've seen but the search engines are catching on.

Actually it still does work great. It does take a little bit more to get up there in the search engines, but it still works like a charm.

Google's recent update "slapped" social media...so what!

You just have to change your game up to move with Google's changes.

There are different methods you need to use depending on what your plan is for that specific promotion. If it's a quick-hit like an affiliate for a product launch or a seasonal/trend item, then it doesn't take much to get into Google and stay there.

For long-term sites, you need to work a lot harder.

You can't just set some pages up, ping for one day, bookmark here and there, and expect to last in Google's 1st page or even get there.

It takes constant work, but if you target the right keywords and promote/update daily, you can dominate your market.
 
I've bought tons of stuff off Howie ... but also found a few things too. He's the best ... Use this in Google's search box and you'll see three websites.

"3st/squeeze/3stsqueeze.flv"

Then get the full web address and download merily. If you don't get 90 items to download use another term in inverted commers and try again.
