Uncle bucks seo tips - part 1

Fellow members,

I would like to share some of my little tips iv picked up along the way. I have been fortunate enough to have earned some good money over the years which has enabled me to try out a vast amount of services here on BHW. Most of which iv found very useful. Aswell as picking up a wealth of knowledge from the community, iv carried out many case studies of my own to see what works, what doesn't etc, and what techniques will work well for 2014.

So each month I am going to try and give and share some of my findings with you....

TIP FOR SEPTEMBER - "RANKING AND BANKING" - don't forget BING/YAHOO

Many people will "blackhat" a site, ranking it fast, make as much money as they can in the time the site is ranked, before it is flagged and de-indexed by google... they then often will 301 this site to carry over some of the "link juice" and start again via a new site...
HOWEVER... I have found, that rather 301 the google de-ranked site, simply leave it there, add it to BING WEBMASTERS TOOLS... blast a couple of fiver gigs directly to the site such as http://fiverr.com/crorkservice/make-40000-blog-comment-backlinks-and-ping-them , and in a 3-5 weeks, you will rank page 1 for BING/YAHOO... yes its not much traffic compared to google.. perhaps 10% in comparison .. but you will be surprised that you can still make some decent money from ranking top in bing/yahoo.. .(the forgotten search engines), there are many of the android mobile phones that will come with BING as the mandatory search engine.. this is perhaps a "forgotten" marketplace to many SEO'ers... Iv tried this method on a multitude of niches and its worked every time.

Anyway hope this little tips helps someone out there.

And yes I do this too, i was so surprised when I noticed the sites ranking so highly in yahoo and i even get a nice few sales every so often.

I never ditch a site now.

Do you always get similar rankings on Bing and Yahoo for each domain ?
I actually have one domain which seems penalized on Google, but ranking 1 for Yahoo for long time. No ranking on Bing however.

yes, the key is you need to add the site to BING webmasters... to get both bing and yahoo results

I think the reason why this works. Is that Bing and Yahoo love exact anchor text, which means many penalized sites are able to perform well in Yahoo! and Bing cause they have a lot of exact anchor text. Other search engines such as DuckDuckGo also use the Bing index to deliver their results, so its something worse looking into when Google slaps a site.

Do you think the "Spin detector" mechanism in Bing different from that of Google? Somehow I got penalized in Google but still safe with Bing.

can we use the same technique to rank videos also on yahoo/bing?

The geographical location is also important when it comes to search engines. Some search engines are used more than others depending on where the traffic is coming from.

If adding it in really helps then why wait until it's penalized by Google? Just add it to BWT in the beginning.

Good tip. Don't normally give a thought to the other search engines.

Any tips on what specific backlinks work well for Bing/Yahoo? I have a hard time believing that 40,000 blog comment links are going to get you lasting results in those search engines.
