Obviously! Not just the language, it also doesn't answer certain questions that doesn't fit their policy.
Would be great if someone built a version that was as powerful as ChatGPT and without any restrictions.
Maintenance of ChatGPT is very expensive though, it's stated that the cost to OpenAI for running ChatGPT could be around $3 million a month, that's about 2% of Microsoft's daily income...

One may use the uncensored version to get info about the topic. You may call it curiosity or knowledge thirst or anything else.....But implementing unethical stuff in practical situation is actually a low thing.

It depends on the cost and what it could do. If it was GPT4, maybe. Some other inferior model? No.
But anyway, "uncensored" capabilities aren't that valuable unless you want it for very specific purposes.

The intention is not to make it reply with unethical approach, instead, if someone asks for something not really common. It will warn but respond, not censuring.

doesnt matter, that just means people are not informed, with just few clicks you can run pretty good uncensored models based on llama with 30B parameters and more with just your CPU

If it can teach me how to synth LSD 100% would buy. If not I'd just wait for mistral to grow a bit and run what I need uncensored there. Btw chatgpt censorship can easily be bypassed, recently I got it to give me a basic outline and price estimate on how to create a virus and encode my tag into the dna sequence.
