Unable to launch campaign

Yes, that can happen sometimes even if the ad is approved. A few common reasons are delays in Meta’s review system, issues with billing setup, or the selected audience being too narrow. It’s also possible that the campaign is still in the learning phase and hasn’t started spending yet

There are many reasons. It could be that the card is temporarily held. Or the fan page is hidden. Or the ad is saturated. It will take 2-3 days before you can spend again.
Hi everyone, I tried to launch a campaign but it didn’t go live. The budget was set and the ad was approved, but the campaign still doesn’t start running. Has anyone faced this issue before? What could be the reason?

If new accounts usually get checked by Meta first and therefore spend very slowly. drop a comment and I’ll guide you on how to make it spend faster
If it’s an older account, check if your Page has any restrictions, whether the Pixel is set up correctly, if the payment method was declined, if your daily or account spending limit is locked, or if the ad is still under internal review. Sometimes delivery is also limited because the targeting is too narrow.

Sometimes the platform just lags, waiting a few hours can get it running.

Yeah, it happens. Could be low bid, narrow targeting, or slow review. Try increasing the bid or broadening the audience a bit. Also, double check start date and ad status.

You should check if your daily budget or total budget is enough for the campaign to run. The campaign may be set to run only during a specific time period. Check your campaign's running schedule.

Sometimes campaigns don’t start if there’s a hidden policy flag, even if they say approved. Try duplicating the campaign, or switching budget type (daily vs lifetime). I’ve fixed similar issues this way.

This can happen for a few reasons. Check your ad scheduling, audience targeting, and ensure there are no billing issues. Also, confirm the campaign objective is set correctly

Yeah, it happens, check if your payment is verified, campaign start date/time is correct and ad set isn’t stuck in “learning limited.” Sometimes a quick duplicate and relaunch fixes it.
In my case, it wasn't due to account limitation, but the ad still didn’t run. When you duplicate and relaunched, did the campaign spend normally right after?

Yeah, it happens sometimes. Even if ads are approved, they can get stuck in review or limited by targeting/bid settings. Try adjusting the bid strategy, audience size, or duplicate the campaign — that usually fixes it.

Thanks everyone for sharing, I will try those ways and will give feedback as soon as possible

What is the current status of the campaign? Is it active, under review, in a learning phase, etc.? Please tell me more about this

Your ad is approved but cannot run for many reasons. Please review the targeting to see if it is too narrow, make sure the budget and bid are competitive enough, check the schedule and payment status of the account. In addition, the ad may be in the question stage or violate Facebook's main advertising, especially sensitive industries such as finance. Researching the policy skills and target market will help you make appropriate adjustments to advertise the performance.

Please check your balance to see if it is enough and if it is still not possible then you should create a new campaign.

I’ve had a similar issue before, and in my case it was related to the payment setup. The campaign just sat there until I re-added the card and reset the billing method, then it started delivering. Sometimes it’s not just the review delay but something small in the setup that blocks delivery, so it’s worth double-checking everything step by step.

Happens a lot. Even after approval, ads can sit in learning for a while before spending

I often encounter this case when managing client accounts. The cause usually comes from: schedule settings, higher-level budget limits (ad set / campaign), or the account has a hidden spending limit. You should carefully check all 3 layers (campaign → ad set → ad) and the spending limit.

Even if the ad is approved and budget is set, sometimes it takes time for the system to start delivering, especially if the targeting audience is too narrow or if there are technical review delays.

Seen that a few times. Ad says approved but just sits there. In my cases it was payment verification delay or BM trust level. What type of account are you using? Personal or BM?
