I downloaded my links [according to Google] from Google Webmaster Tools today.
The list looks fine, except that not all the links are indexed in Google!!! So why do these un-indexed links show up in Google Webmaster tools? I thought that if a link wasn't in Google's index (when you search "site:http://yourlinkhere.com") that it wasn't counting toward your backlink profile.
Isn't that why all the black hatters are constantly trying to get their links indexed?? But if Google is picking them up regardless, indexed or not, what does it matter?
