I'm pissed off with buying bots only to have them die and getting lackluster support from the sellers. So I'm gonna buy my own programmer. Gonna hire some kid to sit there for 40 hours a week coding bots to do all the botty shit I need doing. Nothing ridculously complicated, just your basic social network/forum/web 2.0 site tasks.

So what do I ask for in the job advert? What skills will he/she need? AND what software will do you recommend I buy for them? Imacros? webDOMinator? Winautomation?

ubot or zennoposter.. least magic submitter.. they work well when automating seo things..

Easiest suggestion - go to a trusted coder and ask for testimonials if possible. If the coder you pick is trustworthy then they won't mind showing you what they have done or what people have said.

Don't go for cheap and hope for the world - it will never happen.

Common sense prevails :)

Good luck with that...I've been working with coders for over 10 years and have made over $7 million in the auto bot industry and coders like to take a job, finish it as fast as they can and move on to the next.

For Automated bots Ubot , Zenno , imacros all are shit trust me they can be compare to real programming languages like C# or delphi if u want real bots hire a person who knows c++ , c# or delphi to automate stuff.. Best of luck

Yeah Alan50- most of bots that i bought here really shit- don't work as was promissed, crashed or not updated . ubot and i macros -its toys for kids, they will be pretty slow at least. Kelvin.thechamp absolutely right- you need good CC+ , delpi coder. I can say that bcs i can compare what i bought and what my brother made for me- but he have other job and can't service all my needs, as you know coding is pretty time consuming process. Sometime i start think that creators of bots here making everything to prevent us(competitors) from succes. I can't find on the market just good multythreaded twitfolllow/unfollower in this moment .
Good luck

Why do you say uBot or iMacros are for kids?

Okay they all come with their 'features' but if you want something put together quickly then tools like this are a way to go, especially if you are not a proficient C / delphi / whatever coder.

Personally I cannot code Windows apps from scratch so uBot slots into there for me.

Its horses for courses.

imacros is something u can learn by yourself. there are other expensive programs like AUTOMATE used by bigger companies. basic knowledge in VB and php helps in creating own bots.

I don't know how much you will be willing to pay someone sitting down on a computer doing something that boring for 40 hrs weekly? you certainly should have a budget.

:) I macros is usefull tool and sometime i use it to test a water with new promotion methods - but i can't imagine how to send 80-100k tags or friend requests with imacros in during 24 hours . That would be great to know your methods - you can share with us (newbies) or just make a hint .
Fatboy-may be i'm wrong about ubot- but i don't trust web based bots- i used them 4-5 years ago and was dissapoined alot (all those blusterfriendadders ect), they can't bring alot of traffic and need your attention all day. In my best times i have 8-12 k uniques per day from yahoo , then myspace, then tagged- ooooooops not now- never was happy with facebook ,twitter, youtube- but still trying and looking for right tools /advice/hints :)
Exuse me pls if i offened somebody with this phraze about kids
