Looking for opinions and comments on the differences between the 2 software packages?

Prices, features and most important, the ability for a beginner to run the program.

This for one site and is not my business. Just looking to raise the rankings of my site.

I do use members on this forum (paid) for their expertise.

i don't use ZP but i have UD and can vouch for it , ZP subscription if remember and heard from people use it it's very good
for automation , UD have lifetime fee $293 with discount coupon and $32 monthly subscription and can give very good links
diversity , usually I'm using UD with SB .........
 
I am saving money to buy UD because zennoposter 4 is yet to be released and after it is released their support team will release more tutorials

They both are 2 different things. If you have time to make custom bots then go with ZennoPoster (Paid off in long run) but if you lack time and you need everything prebuilt and ready to go, then go with Ultimate Demon
 
If you can afford both, get them. Get familiar with UD and get it set up and running while you learn ZP, which is amazing for targeting sites that aren't abused by people. If you have to go with one or the other, I'd say just grab UD--the support is great, they're coming out with a crazy-awesome update next month, and its learning curve is non-existent compared to ZP.

PS: If you go with UD, PM me before you buy if you want to get a good amount of scraped (and cleaned) sites to save you some time in loading up your own lists.

Yes - they really should be used for entirely different purposes. ZP for doing YOUR stuff.
Recoding sign up and submission scripts in ZP that are already available in other applications (bearing in mind that you will need to recode them all the time to counter the changes these sites make to combat auto posting) is not a good use of your time unless your expectation is less than $1 an hour.

With Zennoposter you can make all you want, want a scrapper? Make that, whant to publish on Web2.0 website? Do that too...
 
I dont have UD but I have zenno v3, it is great, but needs some updating, i say this because many sites use flash and other scripts that zenno cannot interact well with. They have a code maker program where you can make bots using code to get around this, but that wont cut it for regular marketers who dont know much coding like myself.

If you check out the zenno thread, they have a v4 coming out that is supposed to be mind blowing. I believe it will be mind blowing... if it ever does come out, its been over 7 months since they said it would come out. I wouldnt rush to by Zenno until they make it certain when they v4 will come out. But If/when zenno 4 comes out i would choose it over all other programs because they know there stuff
 
I am selling UD for 200$ and can transfer license, it is awesome coz i bought two license and one for me and one for my client. Now he left and it is collecting dust.
 
We cannot compare these 2 softs, they have too much different. Anyway, you should test both, and choose the one you are friendly with. :)
 
with UD you can start work today

with ZP you have to identify what you want to automate then get to work doing it.

I would do what the other guy suggested - buy UD - use it then get ZP and automate
other platforms to give you more uniqueness.

It probably seems expensive to buy both - but if you are in this for the long haul then you
will need them.

I don't find ZP and UD as competitors. It is more like comparing apples with organges. ZP can do a lot more than any of the tools like UD, magic submitter or senukex. However the learning curve of ZP is steep and you need to spend time to create your templates, but once you do it it is super fast in doing the work. However ultimate demon is a different tool altogether, and in my opinion the most cost effective tool that does a good SEO job
 
What is up with all these Ultimate Demon posts? Is there something I'm not gettting here?

Isn't UD pretty similar to SEnuke with the only difference being you can add sites? Until you can loop and not have to sit there and babysit the program, I don't see how it would be even close to the effectiveness as ZP. I get it that you have to create templates and time is money, but the amount of signs ups and posts would definitely destroy any time I would be sitting at the computer babysitting UD.

You don't have to babysit UD at all. Set up your projects and go have a beer and everything will be done when you wake up in the morning hung over.
