I know this thread has been created before, but it's been half a year since it was created...and there have been many updates to Licorne since then. I'm trying to decide which of these two I should go with. If Licorne has good reviews, it'd be great not to have to pay the extra $200 for Ultimate Demon.

Does anyone have both of these and would you mind giving your opinions on them? :)

This is for Tier 1 link building, by the way.

In essence they both do exactly the same thing. I personally use Ultimate Demon because I used it before Licorne was a heavy hitter.

I have used both and created tutorials for them though and really it is just a matter of personal preference between the two.

The only thing I would say is better and is a huge time saver is the ultimate demon site importer is really easy to use and saves a lot of hassle.

Personally love Ultimate Demon, then again it's only my opinion.

bumping........... is licorne aio any good for tier 1? what is the ratio of successful submissions ? And what is the quality of sites to which it submits ?

Why not try and win Ultimate Demon. And if you don't win it. buy one of them (Ahem...)
When I change my sig in a few days this post will make no frikking sense what-so-ever

Scritty

I've had Licorne as my main tool for tier1 link building for a few months and two weeks ago I decided to give Ultimate Demon a chance. Honestly, I fail to understand why would anyone skip Licorne in favor of UD, considering the price. Success rates are basically the same for me and ease of use is purely subjective (although I tend to agree that the interface could be better).

Matthew's comment that UD's site importer is way better doesn't seem to be true for me. From the millions of URL's I've scraped, I see some sites that Licorne fails to recognize and UD succeeds, while the opposite is true for others. Given how much faster Licorne's link analyzer is, I tend to favor Licorne in this regard.

Other than that, from all the comparisons between Licorne and UD, I've never seen anyone, who has given specific reasons why UD is better. I really would like to know if there are any, because I'm considering asking for a refund for UD. I intend to do a quality job and I can afford to keep UD, but I really don't see it working any better for me.
