I have found some interesting available DNs fr .uk, only thing is from what I read about it people prefer .co.uk over it.

Didnt know if now is a good time to invest in it?

I have a few, they rank just as good as .co.uk or .org.uk. I am not sure if you are aware, but to have a .uk, you have to own the .com, or some other extensions.

There are loads of great .uk domains not registered, they are reserved till 2019 for owners of the same domain in other extensions, then they become available. I think it is mid 2019.

Thanks again. There are some random extensions available for this LLL. All the good extensions like .com, .net, .org, .org.uk & .co.uk are all taken (and all are parked, grr).

If the .co.uk or .org.uk version has been registered then the .uk version will be reserved until June 2019.

The owner of the .co.uk version has priority to register the .uk version over the owner of the .org.uk

So if you think you have found a good .uk domain, chances are you will have to wait until June 2019 to register it, unless of course someone beats you to it.

I think nominet will be spammed with millions of automated domain reg requests on that date, so all the good domains will be taken near enough instantly
