hello guys, i recently moved to uk (london), put my cv on reed and had a quite few phone calls. nothing happened yet but it doesn't matter for me at the moment as i work now in diffrent industry. anyway, if there will be good opportunity in the future i am happy to take it, however i am not sure if me seo fits in uk model;) can you tell me how does uk seo specialist work look like in daily life? what kind of tasks, duties i'd have to take? is it busy role as in mcdonalds or not? thanks!

All you need to change is welcoming your prospects with tea instead of :
Beer if you came from germany
Tapas if you were from spain
Cheese if you were from France .

Right. I think this speaks quite clearly about your SEO knowledge...

I dare you tell me a business to which SEO and online presence would not bring huge benefit.

Guessing you are from the US, cannot find any other explanation for a person to say "seo outside of the us might not fit"

I think what he means is the way UK's SEO firm work.

And tbh, after Penquin 2.1 i have found something interesting is that some very spammy website in my country still standing very very strong. well i think that is what he concern.

SEO is SEO, wherever you are... the language changes, the search engine does too... but SEO never changes ;)

i know it mate but i just want to know how does seo specialist job look like in uk as it may differ from my positions in pl.

Well, why don't you establish yourself as a freelance seo? I know it is not everyone's bread but it gives you so much flexibility.

Regarding UK Seo - well, as you may notice soon UK market differentiates slightly from PL. SEO companies business models are also different - pay per result model is not very popular like in Poland. Well, there are companies that have pay-per-results models but it is not the same what you would expect from Polish experience. As an employee you won't notice huge difference, I guess.

Good luck.
