UK Proxies

Is there any reason why proxies in the UK are so difficult to source? Anybody know where to get some?

1 word "iplayer"

If you live overseas you cant watch the BBC iPlayer without a good UK proxy and since streaming videos takes up a gob of bandwidth, any open proxies soon get overloaded and die.

I don't really know were to find a good UK proxy on a reliable basis, I got a good one from this forum that Im currently using to listen to the football radio commentary (better than commentary in German)
