UK Lockdown Plan

Not much different up here in Scotland. I am booked in for my first vaccine on 10th March as well; just found that out today.
The thing I am most looking forward to when restrictions are relaxed (And when its safe to do so) is travelling down to see my mum and dad in England.
Have a British airways voucher from a cancelled trip last year so hopefully not long before I can get down to see them (And the rest of my fam).

I have a BA voucher as well, I got an email the other day saying they are extending the validity to April 2022 if I remember correctly.

Yes, same here. It pissed me off actually because when the flights were originally cancelled, BA made it seem like I had to take a voucher. Then afterwards I found out that I could have got a refund but they told me it was too late to accept that seeing as I took the voucher.

I didn't really get much from them at all in the way of documentation, literally just an email saying that I have a voucher. It doesn't even give an amount and they would not put an amount in writing for me either.

Anyway, it is what it is.

Hopefully you'll get to see your parents soon. what part of England are they in if you don't mind me asking?

What're people's thoughts?

In essence, here's the set-out plan from Bojo:

8th March - Schools reopen & can meet outdoors with one person

29th Marc - Stay at home order ended, outdoor gatherings of 6 or two households allowed, organised sports allowed outdoors

12th April - Most outdoor attractions can open, including beer gardens, non-essential retail & hairdressers can also reopen

17th May - Social contact rules outdoors lifted, indoor mixing allowed, rule of 6, indoor hospitality can open like cinemas

21st June - all legal limits removed - night clubs can reopen and large events
I think it's a great plan. Hopefully this long plan + vaccination will prevent a third wave at next autumn/winter.

Bloody hell my BA vouchers were only extended to Dec this year....

I got my voucher in Apr 2020. Tried to ask for cash refund on phone they just cut you off straightaway....

Sounds pretty decent tbh. My country already opened the night clubs
