I have tried everything. I am 17 years old, and I have made $0.00 from affiliate marketing and I have tried since age 12 to make money online. (I have been doing web development since age 10- 7 years of PHP, HTML, and CSS) and still no luck of any income.
I have applied for a minimum wage job at my local grocery store, but I am limited on hours I can work. I have to wait a month to get the job, and they have not explained why either even after asking. I really want to make money from affiliate marketing; it is just a feeling of being left out.
By next month is homecoming for my school, I need some money ($230 or more) to get all ready for it. How can I achieve this from affiliate marketing? I can't make it in a day, I know that, BUT I can't even get sales from my blogs on ClickBank, and NOTHING converts. I also decided to use Blogger and Weebly to see if I can do it with little or no investment. Nothing is working, I have researched keywords and everything possible, you name it.
I also tried Eleavers.com for PPC, and I got 1 order form impression with a $20 investment. My niche was the same throughout as well.
What am I doing wrong? I have a few posts on a few posts with content I wrote (2-3 posts, some were scraped and posted on my site), however I am really bad at writing content, so I put it as "recommended products" as a lot of them with ratings.
Should I hire a person to write for me? And how much would that investment be, and what are the guarantees/assurances I could cash in a bit of profit?
I feel like I have it all wrong, that's why i thought I'd ask. I have applied for multiple jobs with low success, and the one I just got is making me wait until October, after homecoming, which didn't make me happy. As I stated before, I need to earn cash BEFORE homecoming.
EDIT: If I can straighten things out, I would probably use this as a long term extra cash in the pocket.
