I am making a online product, and my first thought was to put it on udemy.
But can i also put it on other online platforms also beside udemy or is it against the guidelines of udemy?
Have you done it before and how? Also any tips, or guides how to optimize sales on udemy?
tips tricks advice appreciated! :)

Of course there are many alternatives of Udemy. I analyzed, Coggno, Digital Chalk and Fedora as better elections. However, other terms depend on you.
 
The best thing to do is to just do it.

Udemy.com is pretty awesome, the fiverr of online edu. I don't think you can go wrong with it.
Anything you learn from the funnels they have in place you can later use to on your own setup.
 
I don't think they would be tracking you down that easily with thousands of courses on their platform, if they happened to anyways just rebrand the course to put it on other platforms ;)
 
How's Udemy working for you? From what I know, they seem pretty lax on having your courses elsewhere. THis is because you own it not them.
 
Udemy has some great courses on there, there's also some rehashed garbage.
I saw one the otherday which was about 33 minutes long and the reviews were horrible, the author was a 16 year old kid and his mother.

Advantage with Udemy is the upsells / offers you can promote for your real money courses.
 
Give SkillShare a shot, I've seen many guys who are using udemy putting the same course on SkillShare, it is a little but more informal but you can still change for courses and get great interaction going with your students
 
Guys, Alternative platforms are available, such as: Coggno, Digital chalk. Search in net then you'll found more sites. First setup your decision that which platforms will be better for you and which service you'll provide etc. By the way what about your product?
 
There are many other good platforms like Udemey that are available.

Lynda
Udacity, etc.
 
Honestly udemy completely sucks now with the pricing change. Me and nearly every instructor out there is suffering this month because of the $20 min price that customers aren't used to paying. I wouldn't recommend it. I have several top courses in my niche (which is popular) and no1 is really buying now.
 
I have just started using Skillshare and its awesome.. good revenue share model.
 
Which one now the best place to sell the video?

I am planning to sell a very niche tutorial video, for electrical and automation
 
What are some of your ideas for generating traffic and do you already have a following?
