Ubuntu with Wine to run IM related software?

I was browsing magazines in a bookstore a few hours ago and learnt that Ubuntu 8.0.4 can run Windows software without Windows OS using Wine app.

Anybody here have any experience doing this especially with internet marketing related software?

I have used Wine many of times, but never with internet marketing software. wine has been in development not for quite a long time. You should not have any problem with it.
