Ubuntu server spare time

Hi everybody,
got an Ubuntu 14.04 server that has a lot of spare time and processor power to use.
I'd like to use it as a FB friend adder (given the right bot) or, at least, to use it for gaining a little money.
Has someone an answer to at least one of these two questions?

Does that software run on ununtu? If not you could always install virtualbox then run windows on it as a vm....

Being it a "SERVER" installation I'd like to avoid graphical user interfaces and revert to web ones.
