Hi all,

I get the feeling this is going to be a repost but i have searched the forum to no avail.

Just bought Ubot, went through the first few tutorials becoming increasingly giddy and excited as i progressed. Decided to compile a bot too see what it looks like.

shit.

Have been trawling the web trying to find a way to change it and no luck yet, has anyone any experience in this? Can you control a bot from .net for example?

Apologies if this is a somewhat worn out subject, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

no u can't Ubot sux, you should learned .net takes 10min to learn the way Ubot does thing but bug free :)

I was thinking of buying Ubot. Have you asked this question on their forum? I can't see how you can't get an answer there.

Myself - I have no idea how to even start with .net stuff. (not a programmer) I'm not even sure what it is. This is why Ubot looks enticing for a non-programmer like me. Pull down menus and a forum to ask others where I'm stuck.

Sorry, to clarify

once compiled the GUI for a bot created in ubot looks absolutely awful, it even has a "powered by ubot" LINK on the program! what a piss take.

turns out there is no way to change it, i don't know how anyone is expected to sell a product looking like that

off topic .......but can any one suggest me a place where I can learn to code a bot.

Yes agreed the GUI on compiled bots look pretty sucky. However the developers have talked about addressing this in future, they mentioned some kind of customisation options. There has been some discussion about this on the Ubot forum. The guys over there are pretty cool and I'm sure they would answer any questions you have.

yeh it would be excellent to be able to change teh u bot ui - that woule be much better also make it more accessbale or cheapeer - have a lite version just for filling in forms .

I've searched as well for this customization, and from what I understand, at this point it isn't possible.

Maybe if we beg enough it will be possible in the future.

I totally understand how giddy you are with the potential of ubot, its amazing how quickly you can write a script to do all kinds of tedious IM stuff.
