I looked into uBot and read a bunch of reviews. Doesn't work on Mac and the thought of using windows makes me wanna cry.

In the end I hired a developer to write my bot in python

Invest the same time of learning ubot to learn the basics of any c#/java/python + selenium you will be able to make same bots , not mentioning it's free .

Anyone have any update on this ubot? I just saw a fb ad as well, and there's an early bird purchase price of $27.

Is it worth it? Does anyone have a nulled or cracked version?

Ubot is a great tool for webautomation (used with exbrowser plugin is the best tool atm for webautomation) if you are not an experienced programmer and you want an accessible learning curve. I used it to make bots for me and clients for many years (alongside other bot making software and proper programming IDEs). It is good but to automate the "big boys" you need to know some tricks and how to properly emulate human behavior.
